Offline mode

Keep the app useful when the connection drops.

Updated October 1, 2026 · 1 min read

Offline mode (Pro) caches pages the user has visited and shows them when the network is unavailable. Pages never opened still need a connection, unless you bundle the site as HTML.

What users see

  • Visited pages load from cache with a subtle “offline copy” banner.
  • Unvisited pages show your branded offline screen with a Retry button.
  • Pull-to-refresh reloads from the network when it is back.

Tuning

  • Cache size: 50 MB by default; raise it for image-heavy sites.
  • Exclude paths (cart, checkout, account) so stale data is never shown.

Fully offline apps

For content that must always work, upload a ZIP of static HTML instead of a URL; see HTML to Android app.
